Canoe The Goulburn River Half Day For Two

Your half day canoe experience on the Goulburn River starts at Wyuna, just a 2 hour drive north from Melbourne. As the group meets and we get to know each other, you will be driven upstream in our vehicles and be given safety instructions and fitted with safety vests. The remainder of the day is spent slowly canoeing downstream. The river is ideal for canoeing and kayaking for most of the year as there is no other water traffic besides the occasional fisherman. This is the place to get a way from the hassles of everyday life and be well looked after by your caring and expert guides. This canoe adventure will take you deep into remote areas of the Barmah Forest, where you may be lucky enough to spot a shy platypus or a magnificent wedge-tailed eagle. Along the way, we will find a secluded sandbar to enjoy the picnic lunch and refreshments (included), before heading back in the canoes to the final location.
