Description:  Located less than an hour from Hobart Airport and the world famous Port Arthur historic site, yet a world away from the bright lights, our private lakes offer a unique Tasmanian experience. The privately owned Lakes are set in a beautiful location and have been stocked with rainbow and brown trout. The lakes have a productive eco system with good hatches of duns, mudeyes, snails and freshwater shrimp which has enabled outstanding growth rates in our fish. This haven provides you with the perfect opportunity to catch double figure fish in the 10 -20 lb range as many of our clients can attest. All fish are grown in our lakes and are in top condition and well educated in the ways of the fly fisherman making them a challenging catch! Enjoy a full day fly fishing with the help of our experienced guide and you to will have a good chance of landing a 10 + pound trout. Fishing is on privately owned land, so you will be the only people fishing. It also means that you do not need fishing license and you are able to fish year round. We offers sumptuous cottage accommodation set on the edge of the lake. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen and a cosy wood heater in the living room with glass sliding doors that open out on to the deck, a perfect spot to enjoy a drink in the evening watching the fish rise on the lake. Breakfast and lunch are included during the day. After fishing for the whole day, enjoy a barbecue feast.
