Take in the amazing views as you catch a thermal and surf the skies! This flight is the best way to see Byron Bay and the ideal introduction to the exhilarating sport of soaring! After take off we fly low level along the coast to Cape Byron, Watch out for the whales and dolphins. Then climb to 3500ft before we cut the engine. Taking in the magnificent views to the Gold Coast, Mount Warning and the Great Dividing Range we glide back over the hinterland, taking advantage of thermals and ridgelift to give you a real soaring experience take the opportunity to experience flying for yourself as you take the controls. The DG 500 and the ASK21 are high performance gliders with retractable engines - very James Bond! We are offer dual flights where two planes can fly alongside each other. Please note this flight is dependent on the weather. This flight has a weight restriction of 100kgs.
